VICTOR'S MINISTRY

Dear Madam Roxane

Thanks for your quick reply and encouragement words. A word of encouragement will boot a lot in the spirit.

Please ask all the church members to hold us in their daily prayers. The Indian church is growing both in the number and spirit.

Say hello to Pastor Ron and all the church members. We love you all. May God bless you.

Rev.Dr.Pasala V. Prabhakar. M.A, B.D, D.D
Pastor Samuel B. Victor M.B.A, M.Div
Mrs.Helena M.A, B.Ed

Victor’s Ministry and Welfare Association established in the year 1993 1st October with 15 members. The mission of the organization is to win the perishing souls. The mission started growing day by day in the number and spirit.

We have one main church in the city and 20 branch churches in the villages. The main church number grown up to 1500 adults, 750 children and the 20 village churches with 2000 members, staff 81, So the total members of the church around 4,331 as on 31-03-2008.

We have 81 workers like Pastors/Evangelists/Sunday School Teachers/Village Pastors.

All the churches are called as the Christ Churches. We need a permanent church building for the main church and the village churches. Our vision is to have 250 village churches with the main church in the city. So the expected total members of the churches will be 50,000. We are in need of the church buildings as early as possible.

We have poor children and widows, for them we need the care centers/free schools. We also need the Bible school to train the pastors and evangelists. We believe that God will provide all of our needs

Jaron and Miu

Hey Ron and Roxanne,

How have ya been doing?

Miu and I have been trying to take it easy in Hong Kong as our baby’s due date is June 17. Our birthdays are both in June so it is exciting our baby is due about that time.

We made two trips into inland China Since the beginning of the year. One in January and one in February. In both places we went to, most of the people in those cities have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. It was good we were equipped with lots of Jesus VCD’S that have the Gospel of Luke on them acted out with Chinese translation.

On the second trip we were able to stay with our friends’ aunt. She has 4 daughters. And her husband (the kids’ dad) died within a couple years ago or so. They are pretty poor. It was great to be able to be a blessing to them by trying to show the love of Jesus Christ in action while living with them and being with them.

God is good, and we were able to sow a lot of seeds on those trips. One person we spoke with and gave a Jesus VCD we called by phone from Hong Kong after we left mainland China and returned home. His Chinese name is “Light” He told me that he had his family and colleague watch the VCD about Jesus. Praise God! I told him he could fulfill the meaning of his name by believing in Jesus and explained to him that Jesus called Himself the “Light of the world.”

God is so good and merciful. The last month has seemed to go by very slow. Filled with many struggles, difficulties, and hard times it has only been the goodness of God that has gotten me and my wife through it all. I am learning how to read and write Chinese characters. It honestly feels so weird to be studying characters that little kids study during their first year of kindergarten. It kind of makes ya feel like an idiot. But if it means I can read and explain the Bible in Chinese in five years and that causes someone to get saved and come to know Jesus intimately then it is well worth this long haul and price I must pay. It starts with waking up tomorrow and learning another three Chinese characters. And then the next day three, then the next day three.

At least Chinese people ask me if I was born in Hong Kong. That makes me feel better when thinking about it. But I have a long, long, long way to go. And only by the grace of God I will get there. After Cantonese is mastered (God willing) it will be time then for me to conquer mandarin. (God willing)

Though time seems to be running out for planet earth and I believe Jesus is coming back real soon! With this in mind, it causes me to get a bit shaky as my wife will be giving birth soon. And Jesus spoke of the latter days. Woe to those that give suck at that time! And He told us to pray that we wouldn’t have to face the things about to occur. How dreadful!

But the thing that is keeping me going is knowing that God is LOVE and through each difficult time understanding and grasping the greatness of His LOVE causes me to keep going. I have been astounded how God has revealed Himself to me recently and HE has opened my eyes to see Him in such a greater way than I ever have before. And it has caused me to look towards Him in brokenness attracted and drawn to Him with such a warmth, with such a radiance, in His perfection and beauty, in my weakness looking at Him in his all powerful might and strength and glory. I am in awe of how great, how awesome, and how lovely He truly is. That reality and all life are in Him the One who created all things and the One that promises we can do all things through Him if we will just believe.

It would take me ages to try and explain what has brought me to this place and reality. But I know only in our weakness and nothingness does his power, love, and beauty shine the brightest. He is the Light.

I am looking forward to new beginnings. With being a father comes great responsibility. I may be a fool but one thing I know to be true is that the greatest thing for our child is that above all else he knows and experiences the love of His Father God and that this Love is shown and demonstrated to him through his earthly father and mother.

Anyways, I am sure it would take me ages to let u know about all that has been going on here. I have been doing a teaching and training about “Divine Healing” (How to heal the sick in Jesus name) I also believe by the grace of God many of the youths attending will heal the sick in Jesus name. As Jesus promised those who believe in Him will do in Mark 16. Pray for us that Gods will be done in our lives on earth as it is in Heaven. That God would cause us to make disciples and multiply and find the men of peace that will receive His Gospel (Luke 10).

I am glad my wife and I can have this precious time together these coming months and that we can enjoy being with each other and prepare for having this baby.

Anyways enough about me,

how have things been going with you guys?

and the brothers and sisters at church?

Hope we get to see ya guys next year.

We appreciate the support and prayers.

Hope to catch up by phone sometime. Let me know if you guys have anything I need to pray for, etc. that would be good.

Alright God bless you guys

Love ya,

忠忠 Jaron

Gary & Janet                                               http://mttw.faithweb.com/

Our special greetings to each and every one of you in this new year of 2010!

We trust that all of you are seeking the Lord Jesus with all of or heart in this most needed time in our lives. We pray God’s blessings and holy presence be upon and within each of your lives.

As most of you know, during the last several months in Kenya, Africa, we were preparing to return to the U.S.A. Having left Kenya in mid September, we arrived in the state of Alabama. There were many things for us to do, as this was the first time in many years that we had returned to set up a home and household. We began seeking to purchase a doublewide mobile home and eventually found one. However, it took many days for the home to be built and then to be put on our 2-acre plot of land. There were many times when weather conditions did not permit our home from being put on our lot. In addition it seemed as though many other homes were also being constructed by the same company, which was building ours.  Even now the company has not returned to correct what they call the blemishes.

We spent our first night in our home on Dec 1st 2009, and been fill it with God’s blessings and needed provisions. At the same time Gary has been helping a friend with the construction of a side porch and 2-car garage or car park. The work has been temporarily stopped because of the frigid temperatures and recent snow. Some of you are experiencing much more than we, but for AL. it was enough. Many roads are closed here as well as schools and businesses. This is all because of ˝-1” of snow that fell yesterday and today. In addition the roads were very icy here because of lack of special equipment to salt or fix the roads.

REGARDING MINISTRY

We have been seeking the Lord earnestly since our arrival for direction and even more so in the last few days. Many of you I’m sure have been wondering what is next for Gary & Janet.

Gary believes that he will still minister the Word of God to those who have an ear to hear it in these last days.  He believes that he will continue to minister in the local church here in the US as well as in short term missions as the Lord leads and speaks to our hearts. Gary will be ministering in teaching seminars, leadership meetings and other special meetings as the Lord leads and directs. We have already had one invitation to minister in a home church in the Huntsville area, with sister Amelia Elliot.

We believe the word and the Spirit of God are both true! We believe that God’s gift will make room for us in the US just as it has done in India, Ethiopia, Kenya and other nations around the world. We are so thankful for wonderful friends and the family of God that make this possible.

Janet feels the Lord is leading her in the area of taking care of elderly people. She has a job currently ministering with another woman in the caring of an elderly man and woman. The man has Parkinson’s disease and is bedridden. The woman is in a wheel chair. Janet believes that there will be more opportunities to care for others and share the Lord Jesus Christ.

Christmas and Holiday time

We hope each of you had a wonderful time with your family and friends at Christmas and throughout the holidays this year. We had both of our daughters and their families come to visit us for a few days at Christmas time. It was really nice to seen them all and to be Mom and Dad, as well as grandpa and grandma again. But boy were we tired!! All in all it was a wonderful time. We were glad to see them and to catch up on so many things. We also had spent Thanksgiving with our Son Tony and his family in Fl. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed fellowship with new friends as well as family.

Other interesting things.

We have been attending a church of God here in our small town of Fyffe. The pastor, Mike seems to have a wonderful compassion for his people, the lost, and for those in the end time harvest. Gary has been invited to speak on the second of Feb. to the senior group. Other ladies have expressed that they would like Janet to become more involved in the meetings as well.

On another note of interest, some of you may be wondering where we stayed upon our arrival in the states. Some dear friends, Mr. & Mrs. Leis, opened up their home and let us stay with them until ours was built and put up. Thank God for His unfathomable love and divine provisions through the body of Christ.

In conclusion we want to thank each of you reading this for your many prayers, support and love. Transition is never easy, and to return back to the US has been one of the most difficult steps we have ever made.

Prayer Needs

1. First of all we would like you to pray about Gary finishing his book. The oversight of it, the printing and publishing of it will be an undertaking. We want this book to get into the hands of those who sincerely want to know about missions and the life of missionaries. It will simply be called ‘The life and calling of a Missionary.’

2. Finances for a good truck and economical means of transportation.

3. Pray for Janet that she will find a job or ministry that God wants her to have.

4. Pray for additional finances to finish the car park and side porch.

5. Pray for Spirit led ministerial opportunities and finances for them.
